| Original text | Στα περισσότερα μέρη στον τρίτο η κάθε κοπέλλα κρατά με τα δύο χέρια μπροστά της τεντωμένο το μαντίλι της. Γι' αυτό ο Τρίτος λέγεται και Μαντίλιν ή Μαντιλού(δ)ιν. Μερικοί θυμούνται παλιότερα τους βιολάρηδες να τραγουδούν δίστιχα στους γυναικείους χορούς (Πρώτο, Δεύτερο, Τρίτο). Τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες το συναντούμε μόνο στον Τρίτο, όταν χορεύεται ως χορός του αντρόυνου. |
| English translation | In most places in the third, each girl is holding a folded kerchief in both hands. For this reason the Third is also called Mantilin or Mantilou(d)in. Some remember the old times when the fiddlers used to sing couplets for the female dances (First, Second, Third one). In the last decades, it can be seen only for the Third one, when it is danced as the dance of the married couple. |
