| Original text | Ολοι οι συγγενείς της περνούν με τη σειρά και κερνούν την νύφη. Αυτή τους φιλάει το χέρι και βάζει στο δεξιό ώμο του καθενός από μια πετσέτα υφαντή. Στο δώρισμα τα όργανα παίζουν λυπητερά τραγούδια. Με τις πετσέτες στους ώμους μπαίνουν στον χορό. Την Δευτέρα, κερνάνε τη "γλυκειά ρακή", τρώνε, η νύφη δωρίζει στα πεθερικά και τους στενούς συγγενείς. Με τα δώρα στους ώμους βγαίνουν στην αυλή και χορεύουν με τα νταούλια. |
| English translation | All of the relatives of the bride pass by in a row and gift her. She kisses their hands and puts a woven towel on the right shoulder of each or them. During the gifting, the instruments play sad songs. The people enter the dance with the towels on their shoulders. On Monday they offer “sweet raki”, eat food, the bride is gifting her in-laws and close relatives. With gifts on their shoulders they go out to the yard and dance to the drum. |
