| Original text | Αφού χορέψουν λίγη ώρα, καλούν δύο γυναίκες, τις "ντάμες", όπως λέγονται στην Ανδρο, οι οποίες κρατούμενες με μαντήλι, παίρνουν θέση ανάμεσα στους δύο "καβαλιέρους". Ο ένας σύρει το χορό κρατώντας με μαντήλι τη διπλανή του "ντάμα", η οποία κρατεί τη δεύτερη "ντάμα" και εν συνεχεία κρατιέται ο 2ος "καβαλιέρος" που είναι ο τελευταίος της σειράς. [...] |
| English translation | After dancing for some time, they call two women - the “dames”, as they call them in Andros, who were holding each other by the kerchiefs, to take place between two “cavaliers”.
