| Original text | Ο έτερος χορός, όστις φαίνεται ομοιάζων προς τινα παιδιάν, καλείται Νικηντρές. Κατ' αυτόν "πιάνουν με μαντήλι όπως στο Συρτό με βήματα όπως του Συρτού και τραγουδούν: "Νικηντρέ, νικηντρέ, γειά σου Γιάννη κουτεντέ". Εν συνεχεία ο χορός έχει τη μορφήν παιδιάς. |
| English translation | The next dance, which looks similar to a children’s play is called Nikintres. They hold each other by kerchief, like in Syrtos, and the steps are like in Syrtos. They sing and say “Nikintre, Nikintre, hello, Gianni Koutente”. Further, the dance has a form of children’s game. |
