Original text Τον Χασάπικο τον χόρεβαν δύο άντρες, τον χόρεβαν με τα μαχαίρια, κάναν κι τα χέρια. Ηταν πολύ δύσκολος κι ήταν λίγοι που τον ξέραν. Τους άλλους τους χόρεβαν κι άντρες κι γυναίκες, τον Χασάπικο μόνο άντρες. Αυτοί οι χοροί μόνο στους γάμους χορέβονταν, τις Απόκριες χορέβαμε άλλοι χοροί.
English translation The Chasapikos was danced by two men with knives, including the hand moves. It was very difficult and few did know it. Other dances were danced by men and women, but Chasapikos only by men. Those dances were danced only at the weddings; during the carnival different ones were danced.
