| Original text | Μετά ακολουθεί ο λεγόμενος νταρός, δηλαδή η νύφη δωρίζει διάφορα είδη ρουχισμού, μαντήλια, κάλτσες, προσόψια, και όλοι ρίχνουν στην ποδιά της χρήματα. Ακολουθεί δεύτερο κέρασμα και ο πρώτος κεραστής χορεύοντας με την τσίτσα στο χέρι και κερνώντας με την σειρά τον κύκλο των προσκαλεσμένων τραγουδεί: "Βουλήθηκε αφέντης μας να σύρη μια ταβέρνα...". Μετά το δεύτερο κέρασμα, ο κουμπάρος σηκώνεται και πιάνει τη νύφη για το χορό. |
| English translation | Afterwards there is the mentioned daros [Slavic: dar], i.e., the bride gives various pieces of clothing, kerchiefs, socks, towels, sheets, and everybody throws money at her feet. Then there is the second offering, and the first one to make an offering dances with a flask in his hand and sings while treating the guests who are standing in a circle: „Our boss wanted to open a taverna…” With the second offering, the best man stands up and drags the bride to the dance. |
