| Original text | Σε κάθε στροφή, οι χορευτές γεμίζανε τις φούχτες τους γρόσα, τα πετούσανε ψηλά και τ' άφιναν να κατρακυλούν στο πάτωμα. -Τσούρι, τσούρι! φωνάζανε οι πιτσιρίκοι και πέφτανε μέσα στα πόδια των χορευτάδων και μαζεύανε τα γρόσα. Τσουρίτζω σημαίνει καίω. |
| English translation | At each turn, dancers filled their fists with coins and they threw them high up and let them fall to the floor. “Fire, fire” Small children were shouting and collecting money off the dancers' feet. |
