| Original text | Ο χορός του Μαχαιριού, με την ίδια μουσική, συνηθιζόταν πολύ σαν χορός του Δρεπανιού στα πανηγύρια και στους μουσικοχορευτικούς διαγωνισμούς του Κατακλυσμού σε όλα τα παραθαλάσσια κέντρα. Στην περίπτωση αυτή ο χορευτής χόρευε μόνος με το δρεπάνι στο χέρι εκτελώντας τις χαρακτηριστικές κινήσεις του θερισμού και σκύβοντας κάτω στη γη. |
| English translation | The Dance of the knife, with the same music was very used like the dance of the scythe in festivals and dancing competitions of ‘’Kataklysmos’’ in all the central villages near the sea. In this occasion the dancer used to dance alone with the scythe in his hand while executing typical moves of harvesting while bending on the earth. |
