| Original text | Στην ίδια υπερβολή (με τον χορό της Τατσιάς) έχει φτάσει και ο Αραπιές της Καντήλας, ο χορός με το ποτήρι. Ο χορευτής, αφού τοποθετήσει ένα μαντίλι πάνω σ' ένα μισογεμάτο ποτήρι με νερό, το αναποδογυρίζει τοποθετώντας το πάνω στο κεφάλι του και χορεύει προσπαθώντας να κρατά σε ισορροπία το ποτήρι. Κορυφαία στιγμή, όταν γονατίσει και γείρει το κορμί του προς τα πίσω, για να επανέλθει στην αρχική θέση χωρίς να του πέσει το ποτήρι ή να χυθεί το νερό. Σήμερα, ο χορευτής ισορροπεί όσα περισσότερα ποτήρια μπορεί. |
| English translation | The dance with the glass, ''arapies tis kantilas'' is also over the top(as well as the ''tatsia'' dance). The dancer, after placing a kerchief on a glass half-full with water, he used to turn it around, place it on his head and try to dance while keeping himself balanced. The top moment is when he used to kneel, turn his body backwards and try to come back in his former place with not dropping the glass or throwing the water. Today, the dancer is trying to balance as many glasses as possible. |
