Original text |
Here a boy is dressed as the saint. On St. Lazarus’ Day he is carried to the door of every house. On the following day the boys make a “doll” which they cover with all the wildflowers which are bloom at this time of the year. Once again they make a procession around the village carrying the doll and baskets of flowers while singing special songs for the occasion.
